Now operating for more than a month we had our first baby guest - from Latvia. Of course, the challenge was to find a nice baby-bed which could function well in the future, too.
Some search on web, visit to shops... And in the last minute we got it. On a Sunday, last piece.
It plays music, it buzzes, two sleeping levels, foldable, etc. (I really would like to become a baby again...)
Our little customer did not make any complaint... So hopefully, we passed :)

Welcome!
Hello and Welcome!
Thanks a lot for visiting our site. This is our first attempt to tell us a little bit about ourselves, and the idea behind opening a guest house in the hear of Budapest.
Some people might say, we went crazy, we had too much time to come up with something like this... You are a little bit right. Managing a place that is open 24-7, is a challenge in itself. We had a bit of experience in running a bar - next door pub, the Caledonia is managed by Zsuzsa - and a few years experience in running an elderly home (that's Krisz) ... This comes handy, not that we would have many old people coming, but I guess we though we are prepared to all sort of requests, and needs our visitors might have.
So we did it because:
- We like to travel ourself, discovering an other city is fun, takes you away from your daily troubles and opens an other world of understung why people do what they do
- We thought we have a few years experience of looking after and serving people can come handy
- We (mostly me, Zsuzsa) likes the idea of turning an old, run down place into a lively and homely environment, that welcomes people and they feel good in it. It's like having a magic wound, and taraaaa changing things. (In real life this took a bit more than a year...unfortunately the genie in the bottle didn't turn up, neither did Aladdin so far..
- We generally like people. We like to listen to their stories, what they do, where they come from, how they live.
- And I would lie, if I was to say we did it for charity. Not really. This is a business venture, we worked really hard to start it, and prepared to do more work to make it a success. All we need now is just YOU people.
